Can Guinea Pigs Eat Jicama?

The answer is yes, guinea pigs can eat jicama as long as it’s given in moderation. Jicamas are high in fiber which aids digestion for guinea pigs; however due to its sugar content, too much can cause digestive problems such as diarrhea or gas. When feeding your guinea pig jicams it’s best to give them no more than one teaspoon per day as part of their daily diet. Additionally avoid giving them any peelings from the jicamas since they contain oxalates which can be toxic for small animals like guinea pigs if consumed in large quantities over time
